'Twould be like a rainbow
sweet promise of God . . .
refresh'd by the Sonshine
treasures of the sod ~
Such beautiful blossoms
their faces all aglow . . .
if thanks were roses then
somehow you'd know ~
The blessings I'm counting
because you are there . . .
when I feel overwhelmed
and haven't a prayer ~
With kindness you pray
responding to my need . . .
proving that old adage
you're a true friend, indeed ~
